“JANAKALYAN SOCIAL WELFARE TRUST” Registered under Indian Trust Act 1882, Govt. of WB SL/No. 9755-IV-323/2017 is a non-political, non-communal, non-profit making, ISO 9001: 2015 Certified Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). The main objective of which is to cause socio-economic empowerment of the poor and marginalized with a prime focus on the distressed and downtrodden women and under privilege section of the society. JANAKALYAN SOCIAL WELFARE TRUST actually started with the joint effects of some enthusiastic youth by organizing skill development training of rural & urban area for promoting entrepreneurship development and skills that give employability to women and poorer section of the society, vocational training, child activity, yoga, health and sanitation program and medical relief, education, preservation of environment, preservation of monuments or places or objects of artistic or historic interest, community development and social welfare and cultural program since 2017.
JANAKALYAN SOCIAL WELFARE TRUST’s vision is to achieve a value oriented sustainable society based on social orientation, economic growth, local capacity building and empowerment of people for a complete social transformation. To create tangible and measurable impact on the livelihood of underprivileged sections by intervention in medical, educational, skill development and agricultural sectors.
JANAKALYAN SOCIAL WELFARE TRUST’s mission is to aware economically backward and socially deprived people about their health, education and basic rights; assist them to recognize and improve their potentialities through skill formation, knowledge sharing and transfer of technical knowhow; guide them to generate economic resources for promoting quality of life through sustainable development via preservation of forestry, watersheds, wildlife and historic places & monuments including awareness of yoga for physical fitness. To provide direct services which will enable people to live a full and dignified life. Medical support through Medical Camps in Paschim Midnapore and treatment of critically ill patients in Kolkata (better hospitals and Medical Facilities).
